StangitNo good waste of time money gas and travelI purchased this charger on 8/14/2021. I read the instructions and connected the clamps. Red to positive post on battery. Black to a metal engine ground. It will not charge if you connect the negative clamp to negative post of the battery. I tried that after using it overnight and the LED light stayed on constantly showing a fully charged battery. Once connected to a metal ground, in my case it was the alternator, PS bracket, the green LED light started to blink supposedly showing it is working. According to instructions this unit will not charge a severely dead battery that has 2 volts or low

ManhattanGalS-L-O-W ChargingThis charger takes a very long time to actually charge a battery to a functional level. I plugged it in and connected it to my ride-on lawnmower's battery - which was dead since last season. The green light began blinking - indicating that it's actively charging the battery - so I left it alone for an hour. When I returned, it was still blinking. I continued to check it periodically throughout the day. By nighfall, it still wasn't done charging that little battery, so I left it connected and went to bed.
