Our Daughter recently went on her Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold practice expedition: she borrowed one of these off a fellow team member, and found it invaluable for walking on the hills. On the way home she mentioned this to me (her Father), so I told her that I would get her a pair for when she goes on her qualifier, which is at the start of August, and is on the Isle of Arran. She is thrilled with them, and cannot wait to try them out. Geoff. -
