M.H.Really cheaply made, but it's doing its job. I know it the footrest itself won'tReally cheaply made, but it's doing its job. I know it the footrest itself won't last long. I have a very old - 20 years or more - footrest with the same mechanism and it is solid wood and triple the gauge of the metal stand. I just needed something taller. And there are some "protective" plugs in the very top of the metal which keep falling out and underneath is VERY sharp and dangerous metal exposed. I will probably need to find a more permanent cover for these holes.

compcrzyVery solid quality madeI have OA in both knees. This helps to raise them while I'm using my desktop computer. This is very solid and very sturdy construction. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it slides on my floor protector mat under my desk. I have wooden floors and this thing slides all over the place. Other than that, it's great.
