NicholasI know ... "stress reliever" Whaat!!! I use quite a lot of rechargeable AA batteries, for hand held recorders, wireless mics and LED lights, remotes all around the office, even in my mouse. I would use the chargers that come with the batteries. They will charge 4 at a time. If you didn't already know those chargers stop charging when whichever battery is charged first, so the other 3 batteries are not fully charged. Also, they will only charge the batteries in pairs, so you can't charge an odd single battery. So, overtime who knows the condition of your batteries. And sometimes it says you hav

GaryCharges well - nearly unreadable displayI bought this to replace my 20 year old 4 channel smart charger that finally died. I like the 8 battery capacity and the separate charging channels. However the LCD display is nearly unreadable except in excellent light and held up at a good angle. A backlight or higher contrast LCD would be a big improvement. It will take a few cycles through the batteries to know how well the unit is charging. For now it appears to work and charge reasonably quickly.
