Helps with tight socks, long socks, short socks and I can even get the little sock inserts on with a bit of fenagling (though not fully up around the ankle). You do need to fiddle around with it to make it work for your individual needs. In my case, nerve damage in leg and foot. It's not incredibly strong so do be careful with tighter socks. It squeezes the sock aid out of shape a bit. I will probably get a second one, but I don't mind as it helps enormously and not too pricey. Tha
