red*woodMil-Tec poncho, a great buy.Surprisingly well made product. If you know the military 58 pattern poncho and are looking for that quality ball park then this is equal. The problem with buying a second hand poncho is it could have had a hard life, seam tapes fraying, small pin holes etc. I am 5 11 and it covers me, even with a small backpack ( I use this ponch when walking, this is why I have it). So for the price I consider it a very good buy, the brand is Mil-Tec.

onebigajBest that money can buy....If you're looking for a poncho that is Damm near impossible to destroy... Helikon-Tex Poncho is the way to go. We got caught in a rainstorm and I quickly turned it into a tent for us. We were perfectly dry and waiting for the rain to stop when....BOOM! A big old widow maker (branch from tree) fell on top of the Poncho. It did not rip, tear, or puncture the Poncho. It was tied up with parachute cord and it held up well. The branch was dead but three in. thick by 7 ft. If it came through it would have definitely injured us both very bad and we didn't need that out in the bush.. worth every penny
