    Bought as a replacement

I wear this when only when driving for a measure of support. I had insufficient bone mending from two surgeries on my cervical spine. I received my first two Aspen collars post-surgery in the hospital. The velcro grew tattered/weak on one, and the Velcro glue gave out on the other. That seems to be the Achilles’ tendon on these devices. I do recommend the product. I would also recommend that DME package them in something other than a mylar bag for shipping. The rigors of shipping could easily crush this and damage the device or compromise the strength of this device at many points.
