    Good value, nice size small pack

    This pack's instructions are very cautious, but that's because the pack can easily be overheated. My microwave is older and likely only an 800 to 1000 watt unit (base for their time estimate is a 1200 watt unit), so it takes a bit longer to warm up (higher wattage ovens will heat it faster, so be wary). It holds warmth for a decent period, but if you're looking for an extended treatment, consider a powered pad. For me, this pack is perfect for treating my neck, but I'd prefer a larger pad for my back.

    We bought our first Equate Multi-Purpose Hot or Cold Gel Bead Pack in May 2020, and I am online now a couple of years later to buy our third or fourth. I find the sheer breadth of opinions in review of this product to be hilarious. It is high quality. It gets ice cold and stays cold. We don't use it as a hot pack so perhaps that's where we get our opinions. Are there better ice packs out there? I've never found any. Ours have never smelled or turned sour. That sounds like something that was put away damp. We like that it is easily found in our home freezer because of the colorful beads and eve
