    I remember I had another cane from Carex; it looked just like this one, but needed smaller cane tips. One key for any cane tip is a firm, but grippy, rubber compound. More important, they have to reinforce the insides. A simple washer will do, one that fits perfectly. Without reinforcement, the sharp edge of the cane would cut right thru the rubber of the cane tip and wear it out in a week or so...
