Pics don't show, but there are 18 romex openings, and the middle is stamped for conduit entry. The divider can make a single-to-a-triple gang low voltage partition. Or leave it off and get a full 6 gang power or data box. No other manufacturer makes a 6 gang box, but this is a good product even if it is the only one. Can be used as a cut in, too. Don't forget some kind of far side support so it doesn't sink into the wall after drywall is up.

Not as good as the Carlon with metal bracket

Posted by Jeremy in Home Depot on Apr 16th 2016

My local store pulled all the Carlon boxes and they are only going to carry these now. These require more effort and the design isnt very clever. This has more moving parts to deal with while youre screwing it down. The Carlons bracket will friction fit to the stud. Then adjust at any time by the screw that moves the whole box rather than turning your stud into swiss cheese using these. The Carlons are just much better IMO. Ive debated buying the whole lot of them since theyre on clearance and will now be a special order. HD please go back to the better product!
