Looking for some wheels for a outdoor game console. These work great for the price but there are some caveats that others have pointed out. Before you leave the store check to make sure you have the nuts needed to mount these. I thought I could use some nuts I had lying around the house but found the thread was a different count. I note someone gave a low score because of needing a specialized tool. Dont screw into wood without breaking

Posted by JohnnyWoodworker in Home Depot on May 21st 2016

I have purchased ten of these caster to put on bottom of two router stands that I am building. The first four screwed into the wood without any problem. Two of the next four I purchased screwed in alright. The other two the the piece that you use to screw the bolt into the wood broke loose and it wouldnt screw in any further. I managed to get both out of the wood and bought the more. Only one of the two were successful and did not break. I have had a 70% success rate and am highly disappointed with this item.
