    There have been a couple of scheduled power outages for my area due to an attempt on the part of the electric company to install insulated lines as a replacement for the uninsulated variety that have been implicated in California wildfires. The power was going to be off all day more than the four hours it is safe to leave food in a refrigerator that isn't operating. I buy these Ziploc bags regularly from Sam's Club for food use but this time I needed to break down a large bag of ice to keep the individual shelves and drawers in two refrigerators cold during the outage.     New Grip n Seal technology improves product

    To start a review of Ziploc bags bags, I think we should start with the zipper. The new Grip n' Seal technology has three improved features. Feature one, An extended tab on one side of the bag at the top, to facilitate opening, which works well. Two, an easy grip texture, which is basically a non-slip area of plastic with raised bumps on the bag above the zipper, which facilitate holding the bag while opening closing and carrying, this feature seems well executed. Three, a double zipper closure, which has an alignment bar between the two zippers, which seems to automatically align the dual zip
