    Model 95364 -5000 gr. model is cheap and remarkably accurate

    Cheap, surprisingly accurate, easy to use, but don't expect it to last forever. This is cheap merchandise from China. Comes with a little plug-in power source marked 6 volts, but is actually 7.5 volts. Four AA batteries will also power it. Display read 1503 grams for 1500 gram lab weights. Adequate for my purposes. If you have some accurate standard weights, you can calibrate the scale even better than it comes from the factory in China.

    I use it for bread baking, where only the relative weights of ingredients matter. In other words, a 12oz can of seltzer weighed 380g and 3 of them weighed 1140g. One day at the store, I realized that the same can of seltzer actually weighed 370g (Centech was off by +2.7%)! So I decided to calibrate. I needed a 2,500g reference. I created by getting 6 cans of the 12oz seltzer (checked that each weighed 370g): total=2,220g. I got the remaining 280g from the salad bar.
