    As a second timer here on the lower body injuries I come from a place of understanding....forget the crutches and buy this scooter. I spent the majority of my recovery from knee surgery on crutches and they are absolutely no fun. After injuring my achilles I decided to purchase a scooter. This scooter was reasonably priced and well worth the money I spent on it. It's high quality, rolls really easily on hard surfaces and the brakes work just as well. The basket was a must as it gave me back some independence around the house again. My only knock on this, and it's not really a knock on the scoo

    This Roscoe knee scooter has given me such freedom! At the age of 69, I broke my first bone ever. Because of balance issues, I do not do well on crutches. A friend loaned me her Roscoe knee scooter, and I loved it so much that we decided to get one of our own (in case it is needed again). Before ordering, I reviewed all scooters out there, and felt this was the best one. The padded seat is more than sufficient, and also movable to left or right knee preferences.
