    Make sure you open and check grease packing.

    The bearings themselves are solid as always. But I did open each bearing to double-check the amount of grease. I had to add grease to each of them in varying degrees with at least one bearing having a concerning lack of grease from the factory. QA on grease packing seems to have slipped a bit.

    Awesome quality bearings

    These carrier bearings have been great. The odm honda carrier bearings need replacing every couple months, happened to all my buddies who also have 400exs. So when I went to buy my 400ex I picked up the rear end from the grab bar to check for any play in the bearings and it looked good. I bought it and then less than 3 months later they needed replacing. My friend at school said he had a 300ex with the same issue and he also said he used all balls racing wheel bearings to replace his carrier bearings and they lasted him 6 years.
