    I purchased the heavy duty mattress bag but did not use it for a mattress. I needed to move a leather recliner from Phoenix to San Antonio, (long story). Since it seems to rain everyday in Texas during the spring I wanted the chair protected while in the back of my pickup for the 14 hour drive. I was able to take off the back of the chair and used a bag for each piece. Tied the bags closed and they survived the trip. These bags are good and sturdy.

    I ordered four of these heavy-duty mattress bags. I had two pillow-top queen mattress/box spring sets to move to temporary storage, for which I used these bags (and one set moved directly for use, for which I used the lesser-quality bags). My take on these heavy-duty mattress bags: - These are a little pricey for the simple material but this is balanced by convenience. - These are heavyweight plastic that does not tear without a lot of effort or direct cutting. (This could happen if rubbing against a sharp object, for instance.) - They do not have breathing holes. One end is completely open, w
