rudy5236Excellent connector!This is a solid connector. The female connector has an extended receptacle for pin 1 (signal ground) which makes this contact first before the other contacts are made. It has a lock to keep the connector from disconnecting. There are four solder lugs, including a chassis ground connection on both the male and female connector. The strain relief is in two parts allowing the rear part to rotate freely which allows the front part to be screwed onto the metal body without twisting the cable. NEEWER stands behind its products and it's manufactured to last a long time.

emilspopOK Low cost Audio XLRCertainly not Neutrik, Switchraft, Cannon quality but still good value for the $$$. Probably best suited for permanent / semi permanent installations - I would not trust these for frequent plug un-plug applications but that opinion is not based on any long term experience with this connector. Overall quality is variable: With some F connectors the insert would not go all the way into the metal housing and after assembly is not flush with the barrel end (pushing firmly on the insert did not fix this).
