Margaret4 StarsOnce I realized that mahogany and teak were finishes, not materials, I find this a really fine cane. My woodworking father and my woodworking husband would have approved it. I did not want the usual flowery canes, bright as they are, but something more classic and like those men of mine would have done. This is perfect and I swing along with it happily.

William L.Looked good for a short time onlyThis cane looked good for about a month. The stain on the handle wore off after a few months. The painted shaft got chipped and worn off as well. The silver cuff is actually plastic and fit loosely from the time the cane was new. I am very disappointed. I returned to the site hoping to find a plain cane that wouldn't look shabby so fast, but don't see anything I'd trust.
